The titanium & titanium alloy bars and billets are generally supplied in annealed condition in accordance with ASTM B348 or ASME SB-348. The standard specification covers grades 1, 2, 2H, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 7H, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 16H, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 24, 25, 26, 26H, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, and 38. The alloy shall conform to “Table 1 Chemical Requirements” and “Table 2 Tensile Requirements” of ASTM B348.

Titanium & Titanium Alloy Bar: a hot rolled, forged, extruded or cold worked semifinished solid section product whose cross sectional area is equal to or less than 16 inch2 (10323 mm2); rectangular bar must be less than or equal to 10″ (254 mm) in width and greater than 0.1875″ (4.8 mm) in thickness. Extruded bar has been approved for use on unalloyed titanium grades 1, 2, 3 and 4 only. Other grades may be produced via the extrusion process upon purchasers’ request.
